Homeschool Curriculum Swap
Looking for new curriculum and/or educational materials? Have curriculum you do not need? Homeschoolers can bring curriculum, educational materials, books, and more to give to other homeschoolers at this once-a-year event. No selling. All sharing. Everything is free! You do not have to bring an item to participate. Join us Fri., June 12 from 11 - noon.
Registration is only needed if you plan on bringing items to give away so we can have a table ready for you. Those bringing materials should arrive at 10:15 a.m.

Education Resource Center (ERC)
The Educational Resource Center (ERC) at East Library provides hands-on materials for families wanting to enrich their children’s education or help them improve their skills.

PPLD offers a wide range of homework resources designed to support students of all ages and academic levels.
Annual Homeschool Events
Science Fair
Are you ready to up your science fair game? This interactive workshop will help students work through the steps of turning a general idea into a science project, from topic selection, to formulating a testable question or design goal, to collecting data to analyze. This event happens in February.
Game Day
Homeschool families are invited to an indoor/outdoor game day! Activities will vary. Come prepared to play! All ages are welcome! This event happens in March (indoors) and August (outdoors).
Art Show
Homeschoolers (grades K - 12) can submit one artwork (drawing, painting, sculpture, needlework, etc.) for this non-juried exhibit. Art displayed throughout April in East Library Children's Area. This event happens in April.
Resource Fair
Are you a homeschool family or interested in getting started in homeschooling? Our annual Homeschool Resource Fair features a wide variety of local exhibitors offering educational and extracurricular opportunities for homeschooling families. This event happens in April.
History Fair
Choose a historical topic, person, site, important discovery, technological advancement, or movement from any time, location, or culture. Research your topic, then put together a display board, make a diorama, create a facsimile of an object, write a monologue to perform, or whatever else you can imagine. The possibilities are endless! This event happens in May.

Book Blast
Homeschoolers, get ready to tell the world about your favorite book! Prepare a creative book report at home and present it informally to other families in a science fair-style format. What you create to represent your book is up to you. This event happens in December.

The Educator Card is a supplementary library card to support teachers, educators, and homeschooling families with their educational needs.
